Thinking of taking a rare visit to Princes Park Dartford today to see Bristol Rovers if anyone else is going I will be wearing a Blue Gills hat.

I got to the game so did a fair crowd and one or two other Gills fans.On paying my entrance fee 0f £16 pound I was greeted by the sight of a pitch that closely resembled a ploughed field.I have to say in view of the state of it it played fairly well.I was told it was the 4th game that week as they share with Greenidge and a ladies team extra youth games are also played there I was told. Bristol Rovers (who took a fair following) included briefly Jermaine Easter (he left the field after about 10 mins with want looked like a bad injury.)Andy Monkhouse,Mildenhall the keeper while Darts had our own Jason Brown in goal and Andy Pugh came on as a late sub.Three of the four goals were comic the first Darts player 20+ yards from goal totally misses the ball in trying to clear there is nobody behind him the BR forward needs to do no more than tap it past a shocked Brown.1-0 Rovers.Darts got back into the game before the break, straight from a corner not sure if anyone touched it Milldenhall was left clutching at air.In the second half a deep attempted clearance by Darts beat Brown all ends up as it deflected in off a surprised defender. The only quality goal came direct from a free kick Darts getting back on terms with a bit of real magic placing the ball in the top corner from 20 yards. It finished 2-2 frankly Darts deserved to nick it.The draw leave them a mountain to climb I really can't see them escaping the drop this year.On the subject of managers Darts boss Tony Burman completed 10 years in charge today so I was told.
