Loft will be fine. Remember when we resigned Jackman, he wasn't fully fit and everyone was moaning? The following season he was and won POTY. Loft has also had the problem he's rarely played in his favoured position and has been moved to accommodate others. Edinburgh plays 3-5-2, so maybe addition bodies in the middle will help him

Cody won't make a good captain,,,, how do you know ?? We don't have a strong leader, loft does not impress me as being a captain at present with all his moaning, cody is the class player in the team, so he would do a decent job and lead by example, something loft has failed to do this season.

I got the feeling Scally hated the 3 at the back system.I am sure I read that Edinburgh plays 2 up front with a extra man behind the front two even away from home.Strangely the guy who plays the extra forward roll is from Chatham and is well known in Kent football. All 14 1/2 stone of Lee Minshull who played for Tonbridge Angels and Deal a few years ago.For me with such a young team having a out and out forward as skipper would not work Cody needs to stay focused on his own game.Coming back to encourage others was fine for Kedwell but for me wouldn't work for Cody.

Sadly Cody is the only player I could think of that might be able to take up the Captaincy role, but as I said it depends who we get in, as it's going to be loan player now I doubt if anyone would make any loan player Capt!

I think JE started the season with a 4-3-3 formation which was dropped quickly and his preferred formation is 5-3-2, I have heard he promotes youth quite well, and is a good man manager, quite worryingly though he is known to give out contracts to the undeserving which i hope means if the worst case scenario happens we are not left with dead wood like in past seasons.

In the short term the answer has to be more players taking a lead.In the pre Championship era under Pulis,Taylor then after promotion under Hess almost anyone could have taken the armband.A loan signing if we are to play 3 at the back again we need to bring in a player who can command the defence maybe someone from a higher level who is not getting games. That person doesn't need a band around his arm just someone with a voice, vision and direction. That would leave Egan to play on the right of centre a roll that he is better suited to than Legge.Playing Legge as part of a three was not fair on him frankly. I believe he has been great this season given the roll he has so often had to play.

Being a class player doesn't make you a good captain. He isn't vocal enough and from when I have listened to his interviews and read his comments he just doesn't strike me as captain material. For once we agree though 888, he is a class player.
