If JE is coming soon, i would of thought his sidekick would be as well. A possibility that Newport have put JE on gardening leave, while they sort out his situation. We all know that tapping up goes on that Gfc had been talking to him for a few weeks before the official approach. Newport in all probability will if they don't get what they want report Gills to the league, and here we go another problem between Scally and the authorities. It is assumed that all hinged on the Bertrand deal, but not really because we did make an official approach for Ardley 3 weeks ago without a guarantee of the Bertrand money. If he had said yes, by now we would have a manager in place and all settled

Seems Michael Flynn is also part of the new set up at Newport. We will no doubt get news when things have been sorted with JE but it seems it's as you were chaps for the coaching team unless we have a surprise waiting for us.Not impossible JE plans to go back for Dack at some point but if he gets offered the Newport job long term I guess he may stay put.

Please Swanley we have a German player playing for us.The backroom staff including Hess has done well enough in my view to keep there jobs.By the sound of it at the end of the season Dack may join Edinburgh. But Hess and the others have earned the right to make it work with JE if he doesn't someone will depart soon enough.

Just a thought, maybe JE had no where to go but resign if he really wanted the Gills job, and that is why Dack stayed. Therefore another court case will be looming. I can't help thinking this way with PS track record

I can't help thinking this way with PS track record You are making up stories now JE is almost a certain to be our manager it will no doubt be announced before the Sheffield United game. I would say that Scally has reach agreement with Newport and now at this moment is in talks with JE about a contract.Given that his agent has clearly been in talks for weeks I doubt that there will be any problems there. As for court cases forget it we have our man it happen we have paid them a small fee.It would not have been right for anyone to have lost their job after the last few weeks.Hess will no doubt be open to other offers for next season. If Darts go down which given their position looks like happening that job could come up.But you have to feel for Burman as he bought players in to play in a lower league before they regained their place in the conference.

I'm not sure things are as bad as being suggested. Scally is trying to get the best possible deal, which is the right thing for the club. Id rather he wasn't treating Newport with quite so much contempt, but there you go. Fact is, Newport have a manager who wants to go which means we have the trump card. To be fair to Scally, Newport have also dug their heels in and could have settled the matter earlier. The biggest fault from Scally is the whole length of time this has taken, but if we get the right man, it'll be worth it. Will be a shame if we're not getting his right hand man though. Management is often about partnerships and who knows how much influence Dack has. I hope it's not Clough without Taylor

Regardless of the job done by the go4, it's right for Hess to move on from Gillingham. His reputation is starting to get tarnished and that's a shame for our greatest player

Jimmy Dack has clearly a lot of time for Newport and wants to see it through. Why shouldn't he give it a go ??As for us I really can't see this making us weaker unless people do not get on.We have a good team of coaches why change them???If Edinburgh wants his own men he will get them in the near future. We still have to fight to stay up sure nothing has changed that but given what I have read I am happy we can move forward.I would not expect to many changes in the coming weeks but one or two may leave or arrive.Makes Tuesday's game at Posh JE 1st game I have my ticket.

I would be happy if Stevie Lovell or Patto becomes Edingburgh's no two!

I would be happy if Stevie Lovell or Patto becomes Edingburgh's no two! Scally may well offer JE the choice if he wishes to switch any of the jobs of the go4. I agree Hess could well see himself running the youth side if he could get his head around it I can see him doing a good job.
