I think the players will be well up for this one to impress the new man - presumably he will be watching!

Agreed. We've come a long way in the last few weeks as far as team confidence is concerned. I didn't expect us to get anything against Bristol City but now I'm going for 1.1 too. I'm hoping for a match-winning performance from Loft but maybe it's too soon for that.

How does it feel to get this win today? Massive result against a strong team. Hope there is a match report from IBlue to read later. Still not out of the woods but a couple of the bottom four have a massive hill to climb to catch us. Games in hand are good to have but I prefer the points in the bag. We are on a pretty good run right now and I'm hoping that JE's arrival will only cement our new found confidence. COYG...

Seriously, a great day to be a Gillingham fan. Pulling the pants down of a bunch of whingeing nartherners, in front of the new boss as well.
Jermaine McGlashan is a stunning option from the bench, can't recall more of an impact player since John Hodge. But this guy can finish also.

Cracking result and well done the lads and management team. Agree with the comment about the ref, he was shocking and sorry to say they are becoming a regular feature. As to Sheffield, what a bunch of tarts, a strong wind took them to ground and their tactics of feigning injury is a disgrace. Again this is becoming commonplace as Oldham did the same, not gritty northerners anymore!
