A lot was said about contacts were more important than badges this article proves if it is true that badges can bring real contacts.Clearly the Carlo would not pass the time of day with someone he did not have respect for.Loan or no loan having real friends in high places who are currently at one of the worlds top clubs brings a lot of respect from players and managers alike.JE has clearly got somewhere by hard graft he has has no easy ride as a player or manager.Putting that over to players will help bond the group. Ashley Miller and Luke Rooney are examples of a players who did not take on board good advise. Not playing players out of there comfort zone.Making sure that players look after themselves on and off the training ground.Keeping your feet on the ground walking before you can run.JE has started at the bottom and worked his way up as a manager learning from mistakes I am sure he has made many too many expect to start at the top.Badges themselves have little value the same as a degree it is how you use the knowledge listening and getting as much as you can out of the course you are doing.Which it appears JE is doing. This may not lead to a loan from Real Madrid but it could help when a player asks around about JE before joining the most respected managers will always get the best players loan or permanent as long as the funding is there. This respect will not mean we are able to get a player who is wanted by a championship club if he is going to get games. But may get us players who want to play for their own club we will also have a better chance of getting players at our own level.I feel the best thing JE has done is nothing keeping faith with a player is just as important as any signing giving lads confidence. Bradley Dack is a perfect example of what can be done by using a player in a roll that suits him giving him good advise and confidence. I very much doubt that Norris would have scored a goal like he did at the weekend under Taylor. In my view the right message is getting through to the players this can only help us long term. Enjoy the rest of the season whatever that brings.Looking forward to a brighter tomorrow whichever league we are in next season.
