A model professional who it has to be remembered played a roll strange to him in our successful 2012/13 campaign.I was lucky enough to meet him after training just after we had secured promotion. He came over as a warm and friendly guy.Good luck to him I am sure he will have a successful career after his playing days. www.afcwimbledon.co.uk/news/article/andy-retires-from-playing-2329558.aspx?

Reading the post on AFC Dons site he also comes over as a modest man knowing his limitations, to the point of under rating himself, but giving his all and enjoying his football. Many thanks Andy for your service to The Gills and good luck in whatever you undertake in the future www.afcwimbledon.co.uk/news/article/andy-retires-from-playing-2329558.aspx?

Never felt that Barrett was an upgrade on Frampton after Allen sidelined him. Good pro and leader, if lacking pace

A model professional and another who gave his all for the Gills shirt. Shame he couldn't have played for maybe another season or two, but he knows what's best for him. Good luck Andy in whatever you do and thanks for your time at the Gills.
