The only real suprises to me is that Charlie Webster is being released I thought he would make it.The other is Freiter getting a deal I know he is a good size but he has yet to prove himself worthy of a second year on what I have seen.Clearly JE has seen something. We may see a few of those who are retained having brief 1st team appearances before the season ends.

Mckain was meant to have a big future, didn't work out for him. I suppose letting them know now may help them line up some loans deals before the end of the season so they can impress for deals elsewhere. Looks like he is intent on a clear out, which is probably what we need across the squad, just hope some money for new faces next season.

Not sure if any of the pro's will be able to go on loan with the window shut. But it doesn't seem to have stopped Josh Saunton (still open below conference premier?)We may have news on the other exits soon(after Easter?).It must be better for the player to know in April it at least gives them a head start in the hunt for a new club.As for Devante McKain having signed Egan and Davies under contract and Legge on the books this year it was alway going to be tough.Never really understand why he did not push himself forward to go on loan at a higher level.Going back to Maidenhead again and again was unlikely to help his career.
