So today we won 1-0 which i am happy about, what was with some of the jeers at the end, so what Rochdale had 9 man, often teams work harder with less men + we are indifferent at home so a win is a win, jeering for me is 100% stupid, So now we are on 59 points and mathematically safe now what, 3 games left, i say play the under 10's (joking, can you imagine) we can't get the play offs, we can't be relegated, i hope the club can now focus on the future, decide who is who and where is where, for me, JE as manager and SL as assistant manager and move AH to a scouting role (as he was at burnley) next year COULD and i emphasis could be a promotion chasing season IF we as a club, get it right. I think we probably only need 3-4 players to be serious contenders.

As in my other posts I wasn't impressed today, but one thing I don't do is jeer. As to your other comments swanley totally agree with the managerial positions and with our need for 3/4 new faces.

So am I, but football is about entertainment and I would rather have lost yesterday with the team playing well as we were/ are safe. No better time to play it about and lose the shackles we sometimes have to play with when we must get results.

On to Scunny on Saturday I am staying up there I so enjoyed last season at Burton. In many ways I hope Scunny get something at home to Bradford on Tuesday. With County at home the following week almost certain to be a have to win game we could do with a less important rubber to enjoy.Maybe a few brief debuts Tom Hadler being maybe the most important.I know we should always field our best side if Scunny can still go down it is a must. But just in case we need him next season or even to give him a better chance to go on loan to a bigger club.He clearly is worthy of a chance at some point. But at this moment I understand the need to be honest for the other sides.Looking to the future has been what this season has been good for.I hope anyone who has deserved a debut gets it.We are very well placed now for next year clearly the team were too good to go down and not good enough to go up.A few good signings and who knows. Anyone else staying up in Scunny after next weeks game?
