We should hear very soon who is to stay for me I have always tried to back the manager whoever that has been.I feel that means trusting him to move on I do feel for some of those that are reaching the end of their contracts. It is fairly clear we will move on at right and left full back,Galbraith,German and Muldoon(loan) look certain to leave.Really the only questions are over Legge and Glenn Morris???As well as Ehmer and Marquis of course.

Super season, especially second half, 62 points is pretty dam good, well happy, i would be delighted big time if we can get Max Ehmer on a permanent deal. him and another 3-4 players needed for a realistic chance at a promotion/play off push for next year.

Agree swanley, Ehmer would be my first priority and need a big centre midfielder as well as 1/2 others. If JE plays three centre backs then legge is ok and has played well in general in the run in, but if a flat back four then legge isn't our man. Glenn Morris has played well and is as good as the majority at this level. As for Galbraith injured too much and has to go, Martin isn't getting any younger and if we can get bell then good news as replacement. Dickerson, not sure what contract he is on, but hadn't shined as I expected and at best a fringe player. I feel a number of changes possible, but hope we don't look below for replacements, if we have ambition we need to look upwards and try and pick up other egans and ehmers of this world.

Great way to finish the season with three points. I shall put my annual bet on the Gills in early August just before the season begins. I shall bet, with a lot of confidence, that the Gills will be in the play-offs.Can't wait.

Skybet last season offered odds that couldn't be matched elsewhere, 80/1 to win league, and 28/1 on play off places, OK i lost £100,with £70 on play off,and £30 on league winners!!,but ive enjoyed season since xmas, come on the Gills!!!...2015/16 season could be a serious season for the Medway lads, UTMG's...

I have a feeling Max Ehmer may have a choice Nice touch by the Rainham end asking him on mass to stay. It may even tip the balance. My guess is QPR could we be paying him more than we are able to.Which could give him a choice between money and football.I am sure he has commitments I just hope we can square the circle so to speak. For me he would be my number one target.Marquis has had good and poor games and while I would be happy to sign him if he wanted to leave then I would not break the bank.He seems the sort of player on form he will score, off form largely treading water. For me that leaves the questions of Legge and Morris.Legge has been great throughout his time with us and it is hard for me to say but I think he has gone as far as he can if we want to target bigger and better things we simply have to move on.I would like to see a senior player brought in who can play a Aide Pennock roll in the centre of the gills defence but also another roll IE full back when using a flat back four and wingers or centre mid solid good voice good talking to younger players a side kick for Loft not a replacement. Legge is great in the air and good a good influence on the dressing room but the fact that he can only play largely the same roll as Egan has to go against him.If we are going to play the ball on the ground and use Dack in a diamond we simply have to as Danny Murphy said on MOTD have two super fit full backs but that means your centre back have to be mobile and able to cover the attacking full back.JE has seen Legge can't do that. That is why Egan has to play right side all the time. Then the only question is Glenn Morris if the stories are true of Nelson it doesn't make the job easier. But I do think that Glenn has done better than Stuart this term.Injury could have been the reason for Stuart's drop in form. But Glenn has taken the chance and proved a really good keeper.I felt he was MOM yesterday some stunning stops in the 1st half kept us in it.I do think we may need a new keeper but unlike Nelson Morris may well be more than happy to keep fighting his corner.Nelson can't be pushed but we have to ask is he as good as Morris if he lost the number one spot for next year he may understandably want to move on.For me Morris is a better kicker and hander of the ball while their shot stopping is closely matched.

I am really pleased Leon git MOTM yesterday I thought it was well deserved. He has played well in a number of games recently. We have a real problems getting balls in the air but Leon us one player who can achieve this.

I would agree Leon had a good game yesterday.Against the likes of County Leon is a asset. But is that what we want don't we have to at least try to get better. For me there is no likely hood of Legge getting into a side that gets onto the league on play off's or wins promotion.Sorry I can't see it happening. If I was a boss of a league two side I would be on the phone now .Leon is a great pro but every pro gets to his limit in my view Leon has reached his.Chesterfield made the play off's.Bournemouth are in the premier league,Brentford in the championship play off's that shows it can be done.We can do the same but in order to step up JE must use the budget he has to bring in quality no point in using much needed funds on very good reserves.Which is the best Leon is if we are talking about a top 6 finish next season.

Depends what legge wages are and as a previous post, if a back four then no chance let him go, but a five across the back or back three if you are that way inclined then maybe worth keeping on his recent form. Looks like Martin has already confirmed his exit.
