Not on Wiki as Gills player anymore, so someone's been in an changed it. Kind of suggests there's a fairly strong chance it's on the cards I would have thought though.
I don't know anything about him but you're right Muppet, we've had centre halves who've scored more!

Makes you wonder why we bought Cody? Useless at Coventry and Norwich. Some players just cannot perform at certain clubs or under specific managers. Ajose did well at Swindon (10 in 21 first spell and 6 in 16 later spell) and at a struggling Crewe side (8 in 27 ). In 2011 Peterborough paid a fee of £300k (although undisclosed ) and Leeds paid also undisclosed fee but reported £150k.Signed by Dave Hockaday but then never features after Hockaday left. I think he must have something about him, and maybe Jed thinks he would suit us

If we signed him, we would probably be a bit top heavy and we couldn't get them into the match day squad. Maybe one or two need to go out on loan?

Norris would be the obvious one if we sign another striker. Would give us 4 quality strikers, which every club need. I feel Norris has something to offer long-term, but a season loan wouldn't do any harm

Norris & Donnelly make good subs for one another, Ajose would be the same for Macdonald, time for the cheque book Paul!

Personally I have not been that impressed with Donnerly thus far. But some players really do not come alive in friendlies. I very much doubt that there is any truth in this story mearly Leeds trying to sell the lad and getting press space.lf we are after another striker it is likely to be short term to cover for Cody for a few weeks. I doubt that Leeds will go for another short term loan for the lad unless that is all that is on the table. Norris has been fairly impressive pre season without getting that many goals. Williamson has also looked like he could play a good supporting roll. Like Kedwell he drops deep but unlike Keds he is a fit lad and has the legs to keep chasing and will drop deeper than the likes of Dack and McGlashan when we are under pressure. I would expect those two to start at the weekend . Rory is the one that may need a bit more time before we see the best of him.

Only seen one friendly, but Norris was the pick for me, but as you say stato as friendlies we may not have seen the best of any of them. Anyway, JE has paid out on enough forwards, we still need a big and hard tackling midfielder IMO. If we don't run/compete in midfield then we dont feed strikers and that problem still seems to exist from all the match reports I have read.

Totally agree muppet for me we still need a tackler our lack of goals is largely down to lack of service. After the French trip at least for now JED did away with the 3 at the back thus shackling our wing backs. If there was a more solid midfield there would be greater freedom for Garmston and Jackson to use their pace going forward. I don't think the balance is right yet but Morris can do a job in the short term.

Would not be surprised if that were true but could well be a short term deal. Which would allow us to move on if it suited JED. It would also give Josh a chance to stay fit and fight for a longer term deal.
