I think you will be really pleased in general. I don't think he has even cleaned out the budget so we still have room to move for someone if JED decides to let Josh Wright go he will be replaced. Or renewing a few contracts where needed. On what I have seen pre season. I am very confident that this season will be a lot more fun at very least. To start a season in such style with what is certainly the youngest squad we have ever had at this level and have the crowd all around Priestfield supporting the side with such a volume that has not be heard in a league game since Andy Hess was wearing the captains armband. There are so many great stories to be told the camp will be buzzing today as they no doubt leave for the long trip to Plymouth. What happen Saturday was in many ways unthinkable. Without Cody, Loft, Ehmer, Garston, MacGlashan, and bring in two players who had no league games between them. On top of that Nelson is back to his best. Dickenson and Norris are unrecognisable from last season. We have brought in quality young hungry players who on Saturday never stopped for breath. It is a dream in many ways. Even the really poor food has changed for the better. Never before have we had a better chance to progress long term. What is happening cannot fail to help recruitment of more promising young talent at all age groups in case you have not notice I still have that buzz I had at five pm on Saturday afternoon.

Nice one stato, that must have been a really good drink Saturday! Gillsjan, glad to have you back although only short term. I am sure they will save a performance or 10 for you.

Ive just got back from a week away today and wow, i have to be 100% honest, when i saw the score at half time being 2-0, i looked at the 2 goalscorers and did not have a clue who either was, i said to the missus, have the gills signed 2 new players in the time we have been away, what a surprise and a magnificent start, especailly with 3-4 probably key players missing, COYG
