That will do nicely - COYG. Hope we get a home game in the next round. When is the draw?

Could do with some extra home games to make up for the ones I shall miss...

Not easy info but the draw is on sky sports after the match on Thursday night matches to be played on week starting 24th of August. I was surprised by JED keeping almost the same side. I did expect players to be rested. But if we get a good draw on Thursday it will be worth it. Winning can become a habit and there is something to be said for only winning a place on merit. He has cut back on the training ground when we have a game. It seems that the players have shown that can work with around 20 long trips this year it is important that JED has the work load spot on.

I wonder if Jake will come into his own now that Hess has moved on?

I wonder if Jake will come into his own now that Hess has moved on? well what it does mean is, that he will now be selected on his own Merit, not daddy's!!. Personally i like the kid, and if he keeps tucking them away,im sure were be seeing a lot more of the boy!!!

I have always had a lot of time for Jake he has come a long way in the last few years. Some will no doubt still doubt his ability but he brings a lot to the table in the way of passion and commitment Really pleased he got the winning goal even though he almost dismisses his part in it on LOL.

With you all, a good home draw would be nice and another win so we can then get another Premiership side down to us. Don't want much do I??!! As to the team, I'm with you stato, I thought he would at least play the 5 subs from Saturday and rest some, but he knows best. Hess jnr, as I think we have said before on this site, he played better when his dad had no day to day involvement in the team, must have been hard for them both on occasions. On Saturday, he looked leaner and fitter and covered the ground better so good on him and hope he too pushes on this season as dack has.

That's exactly what I was going to say Muppet, then I got to the bottom of the thread and you'd already said it. Late to the party again! Hess Jnr was a different player until his dad got involved with the team. On Saturday he looked so much stronger than last season and no longer exhausted. Last season he often looked unwell to me, so hopefully, whatever was wrong is over with and we'll see the best of him this year.
I was amazed to see the same team too,but as you say only one more game and it could be a big one next, so can't knock it.
