I hate to say it but gills record with Cody playing this season is nowhere near that of Luke. With Norris in the side we were winning in fact 10 wins 3 draws and 2 defeats. Cody has thus far failed to get going Walsall part even then it was short lived. I hate to say it but we are mipssing Luke's input. It is not always about who us the best player this team clearly miss Luke.

I believe too that we are missing Luke, but I don't think it would have mattered who we had up front today as the team as a whole was dreadful. No Service again and what they did get they wasted. Donnelly was awful too and needs to stop thinking about playing for Ireland and concentrate on gills

Does anyone else remember when at the start of the season Paul Scally's said that Luke Norris would be half of his best strike partnership? At the time we (at least I did) thought it was for morale boosting reasons but maybe there was something in it after all. That said, Cody is still a class act and any other team in our position would be happy to have him available for selection.

I do remember the article, but can't remember where. He certainly has raised him game and has been missed, shame for the lad.

Whilst a 20 goal a season striker would be nice, still think our midfield and formation are the priorities.
