Cheers I-blue. Great to see Cody on the score sheet and also hitting the post, that must give him some confidence. Conditions sounded terrible and may go some way to explain the massive free kick count of 34. With the lions share of possession and double the shots they had and most on target, it's a shame we didn't get all three points. Well done the 250 or so supporters who made the journey .

Yes great shame we could not get all three points but credit to the lads for having to play in such atrocious conditions.

Just got back from the game at Shrewsbury please forgive my brief scenario of the game: The conditions were horrendous at times with driving wind and rain throughout the game We continued with the 'Diamond' formation- Shrewsburys defence and keeper kicking the ball out of play due to the strong wind on numerous occasions. Despite the weather we looked comfortable was strong in the tackle and worked very hard. We went a goal down against the run of play with DEji misjudging a pass over the defensive wall and as he was running back stretched with his head to unluckily put the ball low down in the corner of his net. Both full backs looked very strong/solid and defended very well ran strongly putting over numerous crosses desperate for our forwards to get their heads onto one of them. Jackson was my MOM today - a superb strike that took a deflection into the top corner put us 2-1 upon in the second half. WE looked comfortable and Nelson was rarely troubled but should command his area better and come out for the ball. Also I think he needs to release the ball quicker at times to launch our attacks especially when we have numerous options with our men out wide but time and again opts to kick and ultimately give our possession away. I still think we look better when we move the ball through midfield quickly although this rarely happens. Edinburgh prefers the ball down the channels and up front. Deji does not seem back to his best as yet and maybe Ehmer maybe the option. At present our two centre backs havent gelled and most of the goals appear to be coming from central defence. Hess covered and defended well at times but needs to generate Dacks desire and engine for 90 minutes. Loft did well but is slow moving the ball taking too many touches. Aaron Morris was excellent today. Dack was tireless and worked hard and was unlucky not to score. Mcdonald-great goal unlucky not to score a second but hit the post but needs to put the defence under greater pressure. Samuels - likes his touches and flicks and needs to hold the ball up better like he did on his debut. Im not sure of the stats but we had the majority of possession and were very unlucky not win this game From a neutrals point of view it was a very entertaining match and shrewsburys attack came mainly from counter attacks.
