Always liked him myself but perhaps he wasn't League One standard - only 22 though - story now on GillsConnect - tinyurl.com/hut4f42

I would like to have seen more of him at Gillingham but it was not to be. I wish Callum all the best for his future.

A player I always liked wish him well, hope he now improves from first team experience and goes on to make a good career for himself. Good luck Callum.

A really good lad I would like to join others in wishing him well. He will do well and I have a feeling that he maybe be back in league football at some point his career. Shows what a fine line it really is.

I would have kept him personally, it doesn't seem that long ago he had a regular run out? (but must have been a while!!), i would have thought a better move would have been a L2 club?.......But wish him well regardless

Not sure, but possibly that last injury has meant he can't play at league level.

More likely that he wants to stay local and Maidstone could well be offering a good wage. On top of that as many players who have found themselves out of the team and out of contact at lower division level it is hard to pick up another league club. Callum may well get another chance as Connor did. But it shows how far we have come. That guys like Legge and Davies are no longer thought good enough. I am sure Callum would not have let Justin down but we also have Mitchell Dickenson trying to progress at centre back so chances would always be limited. At least it appears Jay Saunders seems to rate him so hopefully he will get games and like any young player the only way to improve is by playing matches.

I wish him all the best for his future career. Maidstone are an ambitious club so it would be no surprise if they regain league status in the not too distant future though I suppose that their pitch would not be acceptable to the league.
