The whole side worked their socks off., 11 men of the match. Really enjoyed the game. 488 gills fans were in great voice. This side may not have the qualities of past sides but Wow what a effort.

I am highly embarrassed to confess that this was the first Gills game I have seen this season (living in Bristol being one of the reasons), and I can't remember the last time I have felt so comfortable about a victory. It was an excellent all-round team performance, and I would find it almost impossible to pick a man of the match, as they all performed brilliantly. If I was forced to, however, although he didn't do anything spectacular, I would probably pick Josh Wright. He was very solid in midfield, never wasted a pass and read the very few threats that Swindon posed excellently. A great performance. Bristol Bob

Not really great a great result and a amazing effort for me Rory Donnelly set the tone up top. Jake and Aaron have had there critics of late but they never stopped chasing and badgering. Oshilaja and Jackson also have let themselves down for me lately. Both made strong run 's we were stronger and fitter. We never let them settle. In a purest sense there have been better performances but this was a very very professional afternoons work. Nobody would say that these lads were world beaters but the team spirit is there for all to see. I have been told many times this team isn't good enough to go up. In term of quality maybe these people are right. But clubs like Burnley Watford and Bournemouth show it can be done.

The way these lads are performng and gelling, sitting third at the halfway mark they are beginging to show they can do it. Perform like this in the second half of the season, continuing to improve and they will be ready to contended at Championship level and will have earned it.

Bristol Bob Don't be embarrassed about it being your first game of the season. I have only been to Walsall away. In fact, since the AFC Wimbledon title winning game I have seen two games. I can't afford £70 for train and match ticket every couple of weeks living in Buckingham and with a 2 year old. I love Gillingham, it's my birthplace too, but these days money needs to used for other things than football.

In which case I ought to confess that Gillingham isn't even my birthplace. I was born in Manchester and only moved to Medway when I was 24, but adopted the Gills after initially supporting Lancashire teams that visited Priestfield (Bury, Oldham etc). Over two seasons I gradually made my way from the away end to the Rainham End. I have often wondered where my loyalty would lie if we were ever to draw Man Utd (my first love) in the Cup. Actually, I don't have to wonder, it would be the Gills every time! I bet there can't be too many passionate Gills fans that didn't start supporting them until they were 26 years old?

About the same age as you Bristol when I started supporting after moving to Medway and about 33 when I got my first season ticket. Since then Saturday's have never been the same. Good or bad, can't wait for Saturday's (odd Tuesday Also) to come around and I'm like a spare part between may-august. Others would pribably say all year!!

I only lived in Rainham for 4 years before moving to Bristol, but during those 4 years I caught the bug real bad! No one I know can quite understand how I can be so passionate about a team that I only regularly watched for 4 years! My legacy is that my son, who was born and brought up in Bristol, is also a passionate Gills fan, although now spreading the word in Sydney.

I was about 17 when I starting following the Gills around 40 years ago now. For many years I worked weekends on a regular basis so most of my games in the early years were under floodlights. Then I spent about 15 years living and working in London again most Saturday's. So it is only since The Pulis era have I been luck enough to get to far more games. I will always remember telling my best mate who was on holiday after that Wigan game the first game with Pulis as manager 'we finally have a team". I real believe these lads we have now can achieve something a continuing of the spirit we showed at Swindon and we are going to be really hard to play against.

Would be great to get on another winning run and put pressure on the teams with games in hand.

I was 33 when we moved from Peckham in 1963 and I went to Gills game and was hooked immediately though I had seen them play at the Old Den the year previously and ws very impressed. I used to go and watch Millwall because I love football and they were the nearest club but I never got hooked on them. I would add that I am not a Londoner by birth. I was born at Westerham so I have full Kent allegiance. I went to school in Tonbridge and used to watch the Angels in the old Southern League occasionally when they had the nerve to boast the the Angel Ground was the best in Kent. I must have seen the Gills play there in the Southern League but I cannot recall the occasion.
