An excellent article with a considerable amount of research. However I suspect that in 2008 Gills were promoted to Division one and not to Division two.

I just hope we can keep up the recent good form and if we do then promotion on the cards, but will need to keep the loan players or we look pretty light.

Interesting read but I wouldn't pin hopes on the statistics This is a very close league this season. As for losing players in the window it is always going to be a worry for any club doing well at this stage. Loans largely can be replaced it's a small bid by a club in a higher league that could be most damaging. Lose one of our top players for too smaller fee and that could really derail our hopes. I have confidence that Scally will give Justin a budget of this window to replace any outgoing money. Frankly he would be mad not to back a manager doing so well
On the subject of stats has anyone any stats on the Calendar year table I was wondering if we were top of that?

Cheers for posting this stato. Top scorers in total and away, that's a decent record to have and with 4th overall 2015 was certainly a good year.

It puts us top of League one as Burton, Southend and Bury all spent 4 + months of 2015 in League 2. Brilliant statistics, can we keep it up, i really hope so
