Bradley Dack again set the tone on a day that Justin and the coaching team must have been well pleased with our finishing. While Bradley got us under way Rory's second his first for weeks was a top draw finish. While Bradford's shooting was largely very poor quality.Amazing that Burton and Gills have 50 points who would have believed that was possible at the start of the season.Gills again worked as a team closing down Bradford.A lot of very good performances in defence midfield and up front. A late cameo by Elliot List almost bought a fourth but he was pulled back by the Bradford sub who after what seem like a age he saw red.Gills had had to defend in depth at times but in all honesty the Bantems rarely threatened.
Time to put our TV record to bed too.Up the Gills.

Two great fnishes with dacks just edging it for me. Got to applaud him as he stopped himself fouling on two occasions which would have meant missing two important games. Overall a very enjoyable game in rubbish conditions and have to say we were excellent in the first 25 minutes and looked a table topping side. Deserved the win and everybody put in a good shift today. Concerned re Norris as he is a tough lad and looked in real agony. Hope to read some good news with the two loan boys extending until the end of the season - over to you Messrs JE & PS. 50 points and safe, not many seasons I can remember feeling this chilled as a gills supporter!!!!

A good showing by the whole squad, just imagine how good we would be if could keep the ball for longer. When we did get our passing working we looked unstoppable.

After those first two goals went in I thought we rarely looked troubled - we look fantastic when we keep the ball moving on the floor - I know JED likes the balls down the channels and up front from defence which I think is a shame as we can pass the ball really well when we want to Nelsinho looked comfortable again and that was his 100th clean sheet in his career Jackson and Garmston both took knocks and chose to limit their runs and looked solid in defence as did Ehmer and Egan Thought he'ss and Aaron Morris josh Wright and dack were solid closed down well Samuels struggled up front from an aerial point of view but both him and Donnelly were being continually fouled and held down . Loft did well again when he came on Great show lads absolutely fantastic achievement over the Christmas period
