muppet .....i go along with you , i don't like the word that we are over achieving at the moment, its a poor excuse when we are rightfully at the top on merit and you won't hear nigel clough's burton saying that. we need to keep progressing and talk of over achieving is being negative.
up the gills !!

This post was posted minutes after the end of the game so a lot of passion was involved! Looking at the table at the moment it seems like the teams with the bigger budgets Ie Wigan and Millwall are now coming to the fore! Burton are the massive overacheivers and look like certainties for the top 2! I didn't realise Egan was injured and if he's out for a while a Gills promotion push seems highly unlikely ,could Josh Wright drop into the back 4?

Over achieving is not negative. Our Championship years were full of over achievement. A team that gives everything as that one did.Manchester united and Chelsea are two sides that have under achieved this season while Leicester city have over achieved. As have Burton.I am very proud of what the lads have done this season and will remain so.There is no point it hiding it we were never favourites for automatic promotion like Burton many so called experts and some fans of our club had us as favourites to go the other way. Not sure Wright is good enough in the air to become a centre back our back line will need more physical presence not less.
