Cheers I-blue. Agree with the comments other than the ref who I thought had a good game and got pretty much all the decisions and yellow cards right.

Ross Joyce has a history of four/five yellow cards per game and one red in four. With eight issued yesterday I suppose we should be grateful that one was not red.
He is a poor>average referee and we can only hope that as he gains more experience (its his first season in FL) he might curb the cards in favour of a 'warning word in the ear' - this might reduce the high number of red cards he is issuing.
Edinburgh had a point about the 'penalty incident' that put Deji out of the game and the next Rochdale game. His eye socket looked very black and swollen when he was subbed and Vale's Carl Dickenson who deserved a yellow for a reckless high challenge got off without any caution whatsoever. If this incident had been in the outfield that would have been Joyce's ninth yellow.
Fast tracking referees is not always successful. Common sense in officials is often missing.
