Poor attitude but on his day really our only player with any flair. Maybe if we got a decent manager in he could of got the best out of him. I'm extremely disappointed with the signing we've made to date. I can only see us struggling at the bottom of the table unless we make a few good signings. Also prove me wrong Scally!!!

Kent on Line report Dack not travelling to NI for pre-season training, reputedly 500K up to >1M with add ons being tabled. If we get that, it's excellent business for the club. Should cover the hole in finances for 2 seasons. Anyone expecting this to be reinvested hasn't read Scally's previous comments about needing to raise 500k a year from player sales to survive

The official club website states that the fee is initially £750k, suggesting that there could be add-ons on top of that. I assume that there will be a sell-on clause as well. I, for one, am more than happy with that, subject to my previous comment about re-investment.

Has given us some great moments but he has the maturity of a six year old! Pleased with the fee hopefully we can get a reasonable Striker with some of that transfer fee!

Yes, and what we need now is another strong defensive minded midfielder ala Dave Martin or someone equally as obnoxious and another defender. We also need another striker who scores goals. Glad to be rid of Knott and Dack. I frankly never really saw what they say Dack had, certainly not on a regular basis, opinion only and I'm glad he's finally gone and we've got the money, now we can use it. Glad to see some structure returning to the club and for those who say we're relegation fodder, poppycock. We've got size and strength and not a little talent all over the pitch very nearly and I'm positive. I think Wright will stay now and that's fine, he can easily fit into the Dack position and score goals, we don't want him defending. If he does stay, get him onto a decent contract so we can make some money on him if he continues to score goals. Think Nelson will also stay and he will understudy Holy. Deadwood gone at last, what we want now is desire and effort and I'll be glad to watch them. Read more: gillsconnected.proboards.com/thread/8388/squad#ixzz4lQf9eJlc

If we had a decent manager that would get the best out of him maybe he would of stayed. He is genuinely the only player we had that could unhinge a defence. We've sold him to the favourites for the league. Why would they buy him if he was deadwood?

I agree with careful management he will do someone proud but what a shame he can't do that for himself.
With all the issues Ade has had and all the issues he will face getting this new squad to come together as a team, we're better off without those who are hard work imo.

Possibly Lennie, possibly but I still see him as deadwood and not as good as some think. I don't think he'll go far. Just my opinion.

i can understand dack's frustration because we sacked a clueless manager in jed who lost the dressing room before xmas and somehow missed out on the play-offs last season and then we hired a half wit manager who i suspect cannot manage quality players with a strong personalities and dack was quality and i wish him the best at blackburn rovers. we do need to sign a few more players with strong characters because i think we are lightweight and powder puff up front too.

Without a change of attitude he was deadwood. He had run his race a gills. He needed a new challenge. There is many manager who has said. "Once a players head is turned it is almost impossible to turn it back ".Dack moved on in his head 18 months ago sad but true fact .Weather he is a success at Blackburn or not we simply had to sell he was deadwood at Gills from the moment Bristol City made that bid .

Dack's frustration? Because he thought he was better than he is. Half wit manager? Give me a break.
