True if you are a true Gills fan and not just trying to get laughs, it would be interesting to hear peoples opinions good and bad not just rubbish. Too many people have forgot how to think for themselves.

You don't even have to be that good at writing .I find this board is very tolerant of mistakes (normally mine ) so whatever your age or ability .The most important thing you need to a love for the Gills weather you are a optimistic person like I try to be .Or a less optimistic view of things .Friendly debate is what all message boards need .Even if you have not been going to games perhaps moved away or ill health has kept you away .Those who are still able to go are happy to try to give you a balanced view on what happened .Want to chat about players of years passed .There are a few on this board with with very long memories . Please help to shape the debate at present there are too many wind up merchants doing that .Together we can change that .

When I didn't live in the area I was only listening to the matches on the computer but I was still able to write on a Gills forum about how well they were doing or what I thought needed improving. I didn't have to insult players to say that I thought somebody wasn't playing very well or it sounds like the midfield aren't doing their job for example.

It's quite difficult to offer anything meaningful when you can't get to many matches, like me, nor even live in the area, but rely on the site to obtain an insight into all things GFC. I will, nonetheless try and post more often, albeit from a distance, as I will be devastated if the forum should ever fold. Must try harder, boy!

Scally and the club generally can be viewed almost as well from afar .Questions are welcome hopefully someone can answer .

Whether you goto the match, listen to it live or see the result several hours after the match has been played. It still shouldn't stop you feeling you have an opinion. I know when I lived outside the area it felt like I shouldn't be voicing my opinions on a forum but now I live in the area, I know I feel no different about certain issues
