In a partial answer to SW from a few weeks ago, Scally seems to have settled what seems to be a debt owed to SA Law, a team of solicitors who had a CCJ against him. Of course no details will be given as we would then know what Scally had been up to. I still don’t like the smell coming up from Redfern Avenue.

Indeed, just slipped his mind, such a trifling amount after all.

Nobody can excuse that. Getting a ccj is bad, especially for that amount

Not good enough. Must have refused to pay for some time to make them do that

Remember he was forced to pay the electric bill or get cut off ?
Scally never changes.
That is why he needs to be removed from our club.

Now we know why the club is in such disarray. The CCJ over a 300k debt has been hanging over the club and Scrooge knew this was in the pipeline.

How many fans would have brought a ST if the news of the 300K had come out during the summer ?
Fans have been sold down the river and this news just goes to show what Scally is all about.
Hello Manc !!

Hello Manc !! The CCJ was from April if I recall correctly, and I think I first heard about it at the end of May/beginning of June. I doubt it would have put many people off buying season tickets.

The first that you heard of it does not mean jack.
I suspect the club and the legal firm involved wanted to break the news at the right moment.
If the news about the immient CCJ was revealed before the the end of the season. That would have had a detrimental effect on ST.
The timing of the news was key.

It’s was always there for people to find, and it was going around on Facebook long before the club made a statement.

Not the end of the world, the debt has been paid. A lot of businesses operate this way wait as long as you can before paying up it's not uncommon. just in most cases nobody cares, numerous business debt are settled just before court proceedings start.

Well actually to conduct business in this way, I and all decent thinking people should care.
