Full house tomorrow at Priestfield for celebrity FC.
They're the best team in the league at home, bang average away, sitting 12th in the form table.
Really no excuses for us not to play proper football and win the game. Home form has deteriorated under Clemence so it's something he needs to get right.

I continually remain optimistic when attending home games, then when the action starts this suddenly deflates. I'd like to see us give them a real good go tomorrow, but as they play direct football it is something this team in its current guise seems to struggle against. But.. a full house and hopefully fired up players we might just do something. I personally have given up hope on that last play off place, but if we can string 3 or 4 wins together starting from tomorrow you never know. Fingers crossed I might be pleasantly suprised.

Half time ands it's 0-0. Can't help thinking they ll grab the necessary. Nadesan is beyond words, I liked him but for some reason he is hopeless. Clem doesn't think Walker is as good, that's telling, Walker wasn't his idea. What is the matter with these players?

Irritating that Newport got a hiding, but that was a truly excellent win no matter what.

Got to take that, a solid team performance all round, we looked more balanced and Morris filled in superbly with a calm performance and solid distribution. I will enjoy it for what it is and hopefully we can keep the season going a bit longer! Utg

Reminded me of the Charlton game where the players decided they were up for it and put in a stonking performance. Wasn’t pretty, we didn’t look like scoring and we had very little up top, but defence and midfield played like they were trying to earn a move to a bigger club! If we can match that intensity, we’d be top 3. Why we don’t is the great mystery.

Excellent 3 points. 2 clean sheets against 2 teams in the top 3 is very impressive. Especially when they have been scoring for fun. I’m particularly pleased for Clemence as he's been taking a lot of stick on this site over the last few games.
Need to keep the momentum of this match until the end of the season. If they do, play off place is well within their grasp..

On a long weekend in Portugal, went to watch a primeira liga match, farense v moreirense, went to a bar afterwards. First person I got talking to was a Wrexham fan. He couldn't believe his luck

Morris is much more assured than Turner and hopefully he will be our main keeper for the rest of this campaign.
Good win today !!!

Pretty poor first half, but we deserved the win based on the second half display. No individual stood out, but thought the defence played well under some real pressure, especially in the first half. Agree, Morris played well and does seem to add a calmness, which has been lacking. Great 3 points and well done to all.

Three great points from a game where before it started I think I would have been happy to take a point from. Back in the hunt but the games don't get any easier. I think it is very easy to blame the Head Coach for the Gills performances but it is difficult to win the The Grand National when your putting cart horses at the starting gate. If our owner is serious about building a winning team for next year then I hope our scouts,Hessy and Jackett are doing there homework now, so when the Transfer Period opens in the second week of June we will be signing players they have seen play, and not waiting until the season starts and then bringing in whats is left at the bottom of the pot.
