www.gillinghamfootballclub.com/news/2024/march/historic-football-governance-bill-introduced-in-parliament/This is interesting, don't know how serious it is, and Interesting also that businessman Sunak says he backs it. There has to be the right things done for the future of fans, clubs and society. There is more to life than profit but is it possible to get that message through to the majority and to greedy business that has the upper hand? I remember Scally running on about capping players...all very well and good...as long as the likes of him are prepared to have their own salaries capped. The entitled few will always talk about those who do the back breaking work having their salaries trimmed even the cleaners, while they bask in the sunshine somewhere

Another bit of government attempting to appeal to the people. Has all the hallmarks ofof being a total waste of time and money and delivering next to FA

Some bloke, or woman, will want an eye watering salary, posh offices and a stack of highly paid staff who will add nothing to football.
No doubt, there will be ""diversity" officers who trawl through social media posts to try to find dodgy posts.

I'd massively welcome it. Football is broken. It's dominated by money, it's a plaything of the rich and it's far removed from when I went on holiday and my parents took me to Anfield and we paid £4 to stand on the top in the 1990s, it's silly. I just hope the regulator is bold and preserves the game for the people.

There is a lot broken in football,it starts with the Premier Division which started in the 92/93 season, but only Blackburn and Leicester have won it outside of Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal,in 30 plus years? Nothing wrong there is there ?

Bundesliga - 6 Ligue 1 - 7 La Liga - 5 Serie A - 6 There's lots of problems but not sure that's one of them, although City on the last 5 years or so is an issue. I reckon once Guardiola goes there could be a bit of variety
