Good read, now lets see if our owner is going to put his money where his mouth is this summer. The only way to get of of this division is to bring in good players,THAT COST'S MONEY, often big money. Were not getting out of this division with a bunch of freebies, we need two goal scorers capable of 12 or more goals each per season, or were going to be sitting in the cellar for years to come. All teams are looking for these players so it is a pretty good bet were going to have to over pay for them, live with it,you will make the money back when we get into the Championship Division.

There seems to be a bit of a narrative on here recently that the Galinsons aren't putting their money where their mouths are. Find that a bit odd. They have spent decent money on the team. No we're not Wrexham, but we've certainly spent

There’s also a daft narrative that we haven’t bought good players. We’ve not only done that, they are proven players too

Some people on here have such short memories one win last week and it seems anything that went before is forgotten. How can anyone say we bought good players, wheres the star we all went gaga over when he signed, moved to the Fens I believe ? Two weeks ago everyone was saying we had no one up front that could score, against teams like lowly Grimsby, The Gills could only manage three shots on target all afternoon. We were crap against Wimbledon, only two shots on target, Lucky, lucky against Tranmere , Crap against Barrow, two shots on target again. If you think were going to get into Division One with this group of players then I want some of what your smoking, which buy the way is legal in this State the Government sells licenses to anyone that bids on one and wins the bidding. I understand our players wages are only half what Wrexhams are,and we in the top ten of the division in the salary table and I also can see that teams all around us like Crewe ,Accrington and Barrow are about half of ours but I would almost venture to say that Wrexham and Stockport who both have bigger wage bills than the Gills will be two of the teams that get automatic this year.

The fact we haven’t been able to buy a top striker doesn’t change the fact that in every other part of the pitch, we purchased players who were experienced and highly rated in league two. The fact that the manager hasn’t got the most out of them doesn’t change that.

Would have given us 79.5 points over a season.

Gillingham FC this year are so frustrating, I think so far this season Harris produced 22 points from 11 games, Millen managed 6 points from 5 games, and Clemence has been in charge for 25 games and got us 38 points.( think these are correct) I don't really think the Managers are the real problem at GFC, The players we have just are not good enough. Harris scored 138 goals for Millwall, Clemence made 250 appearances in midfield in the Premier and Football League. These two could teach any team to be GOOD up front and in the middle IF the PLAYERS WANTED TO LEARN. I just think the Gills players think there so good they don't need to learn or perhaps just don't care, there attitude is I am out of here in a few weeks, see ya.

It may be for some of them. Brad talks about 4 ish new players but that means, Sean Williams, Jayden Clarke, Nadesan and Jeffries (sold,) perhaps out and maybe Ehmer to get in another Centre back. So 1 Centre back, 1 Midfield, 2 forwards? I'd get shot of Malone and Mahoney too. The latter and Walker to go back anyway. That still leaves us with J Williams and Lapslie and Dieng who also just don't seem up to it. I wonder whether at least two of those should go, Lapslie probably that means 5 players in but I don't know about their contracts. We re still a bit hamstrung it seems to me.
