All the great commentators , David Coleman ,Martin Tyler, Stuart Hall and others that most people on this site will not know , worked on there own,commentating for 90 minutes on what was going on of the pitch. Today I watched the Chelsea /Manchester United game,with Andy Townsend as the number two in the booth on what is the The World Feed.
What a pain the butt that guy is,and I know he was a great player, but as a commentator , he is I think a frustrated manager wanna be. He writes Manchester United off when they go down 2-0, with 70 minutes left to go, and the whole time he spends criticizing every move both teams make. TOWNSEND were watching the game, your not on the radio,were not complete idiots, the number of people watch soccer for the first time in there lives and watching this game on the World Feed is probably 0.000000000001 % of the overseas viewing audience .
Give it a rest Townsend,let the main man speak, you just sit there telling anyone around you that will listen that your wife was a dancer and danced in Nashville, (where they have the Fan Weekend on Saturday) the rest of us don't care,were watching the football.
