..and with a whimper again. Clem replaces the midfield with a defence we invite them on and it's over. Time after time with Harris and now this one. Either they're both stupid or they know something about these players fitness that we dont. Either way a very disappointing end...stuff Doncaster I'm afraid.

I hope Clemence contract is not to large to buy out at the end of the season because I honestly don't think he is the man for the job of getting the Gills promoted. If he stays then I hope he gets the players he needs to play his type of football what ever that is ,we sure don't need another pointless season like this. I understand he has inherited players and they are not the players he would have chosen I am sure, but I wish BG had bought in an experienced Manager. We have had a few good results but really to few to make me think he is the man for the job, for some unknown reason the players only seem to get up for the big games,we can beat Wrexham, Charlton, Stockport ,kick Barrows butts all over the pitch and then we leave so many points on the table with when we play Grimsby, Forest Green, Colchester . etc. What an exciting game next weeks could have been with a win today.J
    Just remind me Clemence was the assistant Manager to Steve Bruce who was great at Gills as a player,but the only thing I seem to be able to recall in my old age is him getting fired from teams ,was Clemence ever with him when he was successful anywhere ?

The only job Clemence deserves next season is working at Gillingham in hospitality or working as a PE teacher at a local HMP prison.

The fella will never make it as a football league manager...lol

The key thing with Clemence is that if he was sacked at the end of the season no supporters would really miss him. The results haven't improved, goalscoring hasn't barring a couple of matches and the style of football is bloody awful. At least Harris and Evans didn't kid anyone about how they played and has both have proved with other clubs they can grind out 1 nil wins. The minimum aim of the club's owners was playoffs, we could finish bottom half. Will the Americans allow sentiment to hold onto Clem for another few months?
I absolutely hated Evans as a boss and couldn't wait for him to leave, but this one fills me with emptiness and the lack of passion I feel as a supporter is reflected on the pitch it seems.

Every Gills fan knows that Clem is not up to job and removing him at the end of the season should be straight forward.
