Looks another promising signing. That’s 4 new players already and only the first week in June. Looks like the club wants all their ducks in a row before the start of pre-season.

Comper has said it’ll go quiet now so assume the club have landed their primary targets which is great news.
The focus presumably will be getting rid of Lapslie, Nadesan, Hawkins etc before further incomings.

Thought you could only sign players after their contracts had expired, which used to be early June from memory.

Thought you could only sign players after their contracts had expired, which used to be early June from memory. End of June I think, but you can negotiate in theory up to 6 months before. We’ve announced them early, no doubt to help with season tickets, shirts and general excitement, though in the past, nobody would have signed and we’d have been scrabbling around in pre season waiting for some crumbs to drop. |
