Joe Comper gave an update on all the progress within the club over the last few weeks. However he didn’t mention that the pitch has been completely relaid. This seems to have gone under the radar.
It certainly didn’t look at its best last season compared to other Div 2 clubs.
I’m old enough to remember supporters years ago saying the footballs rubbish, but at least the pitch was perfect.

I think it was bonner that said a lot of money was going to be spent on a big project in the ground, but not a new stand! So I'm guessing that the new pitch was what he was talking about..

All wonderful stuff ,but without those 30 extra goals from new players were gong to be the same old Gills.
