Released by Sunderland,a free agent, had a great spell 7 years back with us, and even better at Blackburn, but has had some serious injury along the way. Bonner spoken to him recently. What's the fans thought's? UTG's

No thanks, there’s a reason he’s a free agent and hasn’t been snapped up by another championship or even league 1 team.
He would want silly money for league 2 and he’d likely spend the majority of his time on the treatment table, and the football would probably get in the way of his reality tv career.
I don’t see the obsession some of our fans have with bringing back past players, I think it’s best that we remember him for what he did for the club 7 years ago and not tarnish that with what would undoubtedly be a disappointing return.

Difficult to disagree with this. Football has become a distraction from his celebrity status on TV.

Don't agree. He wants to be closer to London to be with his wife. You don't need to lead some mega celeb lifestyle to want to spend time with the lady you recently married. If he wants to play for us and the money isn't daft, he'd be a cheat code in league two, when fit. Bonner had Hoolahan as his cheat code before when he got out of league two. Even if Dack played 20 games, it might be enough to get us up.

The balance then....take him on a low wage or by match for now.

Not sure it’s a step forward.

He is making 15,000 pounds per week, much too much to pay an injury prone 30 year old player , and I can'r see him playing for anyone if there not going to pay him 10 to 12 K a week. I would bring him back,if he wanted to take a huge pay cut after all he was good enough to play 16 times for Sunderland last year,so he is sure as hell good enough to play for GFC.
