Noticed Hawkins has been playing centre back for the last few friendlies. Is there a chance he will stay and a possible option at the back??

I wouldn’t be surprised if we were lumbered with him for another season. He’s a 31 year old with a chronic condition on good money.
His lack of pace and mobility scares me at centre back

If we are to keep him, play him at centre back with a quick partner, he may be space aware and he does try.
