We should be beating sides like Morecambe this season if we are going to be right up in the mix.
They are a hardworking side and we have a team that can more than match them for work rate, the undoubted quality we have in the middle of the park and squad means cert win tomorrow for me.
Morecambe 0 Gillingham 2

They were very decent last year, we shouldn't be beating any team but I take us to, 2-1, squeeze.

If we score early (as in the first 15/ 20 mins) then a 2-1 win, if not a 1-1 draw.

A few injury concerns in Masterson and Dieng. Doesn’t sound like we have anyone coming back either. 1-1 for me.

Terrific effort with so many injuries. Probably only deserved a point but I would take 3!!!

As you say great effort, A solid start, 2 out of 2 wins, can’t wait to see the team playing without so many injuries. Probably a few weeks away, but we have to believe in the squad players to achieve the best results possible in their absence.
A couple of tough matches coming up, so let’s hope one or two are ready to return by then.

Never any issue with grinding one out away. Promising start, but we’ve won 2 and probably need 25/26 more

Mmm. Just watched the highlights. Bonner will surely know that we were tired and slow in defence. No question, Williams, Nolan and Clarke (both) guilty of not closing down. My word we were very very lucky, we mustnt hide it. I'd have been very disappointed if I were a Shrimps fan.
Great cross for Hawkins, not sure if it was Lapslie? Anyhow, I like Hawks, useful and I hope he stays. Lapslie, not sure about him, not sure of his loyalty, and a lot of other things, he seems....disconnected and always has. That's polite, but he did score. We re gonna have to improve whatever happens to everyone.

You need to ride your luck away from home. Bonner said he didn’t want this to be the blueprint, but it came off the back of spanking a side at home so I really wouldn’t be worried about the nature of the result. We’re unlikely to see the side playing totally how Bonner wants until Xmas, in my view, because it’s a radical change to the dull style of Clemence.
