I was just thinking how we lack contributors on this site since Scally was sidelined. Before then people had plenty to say now we dont see them. What is the reason do you think? Before we were told that they didnt like the arguements on here well now there are none, surely a fan would return. This could still be a good site, even though the great Al has gone. We have all of us, strong opinions, mostly respectful, even Swans is toned down. Wish they would all return and add subjects that we could talk about. It's much better here than on the other site where they ask each other what they had for lunch and other pointless subjects. Any ideas?

I’ve just had more important things going on with family bereavements and some ill health earlier in the year. The forum is full of spam now too, most notifications I get are about people starting threads about gambling sites etc. I think a lot of people probably interact more on Facebook groups

Most people probably like me so fed up with reading same old arguments for the last three years about Scally so cannot be bothered to contribute again

Fair enough but those days are gone now, as Donut has said.

Fair enough but those days are gone now, as Donut has said. Exactly SW. Come on you posh gill and others, we love to hear you. Think we ve had our problem days, most are a lot more grown up now, let's talk about football let's talk about Gills. You know rumours anyone's picked up, Brad, anything gills. Sorry to hear about health issues Manc, hope you re over it, actually i know what you mean. Scally was devisive, I just listened to Alex Macdonald on his leaving and I've heard others....not worth wasting our breath on now...I'm sure it's a new regime, it's all past, Brad is anything but negative and I reckon the whole club is lifted. Were all fans, we all want the gills to do well, let's do it!

Agree, Donut.
The best way to keep the spam off this site is for members to post as many interesting threads as possible and simulate debate.
Obviously we all have our differences, but good debate is healthy and enjoyable. UTG.

Here here GF. Let's all keep it going by making sure at least one of us look out for posting more match and post match thoughts for a start. Theres a good few missing, one who I cant remember the name of who I've not seen for a while, he and I fell out, but I've done my forgiveness, hope he has. Guy who agreed with Manc a lot...memory!

I think it’ll be tough to get it back again with the Facebook sites now. It’s a shame nobody can take over as mod and try and get it back and running properly again

I'm not on FB, but I know a few supporters who are and the groups there seem to be a real mix. In the main I've found this site to be an open mixed of well stacked views- it's OK to disagree as life is about opinions and different ideas. I think the growing absence of everyone's favourite ex chairman, coupled with the quite frankly lovely positivity of our new owners, nearly 2 years in they seem pretty genuine and at the very least are running the club like they care. This means that off the pitch there is less to complain about and on the pitch things really seem to be going in the right direction with MB showing all the right signs that clem never did and more importantly some exciting players on the pitch, particularly Mr Nolan. People do like to moan more when things are wrong, that's human nature, just look at the newspapers everyday. Hopefully lots more positive things will come in the following months. Ps. On the Scally note, some of our big new business partners are now with the club because he has gone!

Yeah. We wont open the debate, suffice to say that something just wasnt right and when you hear people who worked with him talk, it really is very concerning. I dont know if there is truth in Scallys alleged comments to Bradford's chairman but if there is, it is also very concerning. He has been sidelined it seems, did anyone see him at our first matches?
