I don't think anyone cares about cup games anymore. Unless it's against a prem team. Expecting to see a couple youth defenders coming off the bench. First appearance for Dack in the last half hour. Wyllie and Andrews start up top.

Yes, definitely light on central defence. Can’t risk any more injuries or indiscipline happening before Saturday’s match.
A lot depends on how many first team players will be missing on both sides.
I’ll go for 1-1.

Felt like a pre season friendly against a team so much more incisive than us with pace and power.
Thought the kids did well. Webster good at right back, Gbode good, shocking miss aside. Nevitt a handful when he came on- we need him fit.
Dack is miles off it fitness wise. Great from set pieces but he needs physical and match sharpness. I reckon he’s a month off at least. Johnny Williams got more game time but was even more disappointing.
Reasonable enough effort against a better side.

Just better than our experimental type team. They were also good defensively, we did have chances.

Enjoyed that. Some of the best football we've played this year mixes with lots of mistakes.
Webster and Gbode looked really promising. Thought Williams looked better picking the ball up deep from the defence and having Dack or Laps to link with as he came forward. Nice debut goal for Nevs.
Don't think there were any injuries as well.

Good run out for the lads. Gbode looking a lot better this season. Can he break into the first team??
