This will be the toughest I think. Very good side and could easily be champions. I'd take a draw right now.

I agree, another tough away fixture miles away. If we perform like we did against Peterborough then we’d certainly do enough to earn a point. We weren’t perfect Tuesday night but showed some flashes of great attacking play. Up the Gills!

Can see it being high scoring for a change. Maybe a 3-2. Donny look good. I think with our attack having more options, as a few got a run out in the week, and we're thin at the back we'll try and really take the game to them. End to end stuff and could go either way.
Gills to scrape it at the death to send the traveling fans home overjoyed!
(Or 0-0)

Patched up defence against one of the best sides in the league away. I would take a draw but suspect it maybe our first loss.

Well if we are going to be in the mix at the end of the season, these are the matches you don’t want to lose. Hopefully pick up a point.
We don’t seem to be scoring many goals again, so hopefully with forward players coming back from injuries, I’ll go for 2-2.

The result probably depends on how well the patched up defence does. 1-1

Jayden Clarke stealing a living at this level. Why does he keep playing him??

Better 2nd half but never really looked like scoring. Never really gave it a go. Patched up defence did ok, Ogie very solid again. Shaping up a bit like last season, won’t score or concede many.

If we had played from the start like we did in the last 20 minutes or so the Gills would have won 2 or 3-1. What was the idea, let Donny wear themselves out and then score a couple,I don't understand how we allowed them to be the better side for the entire first half ? The goal was a joke if our defender had not pulled the goal scorers shirt turning him around ,he would have never scored the goal, and we would have come away with a point. Still early days ,plenty of footie left on the season.

Thought it was a close game. Kind of cancelled each other out. Donny did make a coupl chances where as we huffed and puffed at the end but never really had a proper shot at the goal. Think 1-0 was fare. Anyone got news on Mackenzie and Dack?

Very disappointed today, but injuries are failing us. I hope to see improvement

Never really got to grips with the game, especially first half. Hutton and Hawkins are both at fault for their goal, otherwise done ok across the back. Biggest issue is attacking, a settled strike force is a must to help the midfield, but with injuries we are going to struggle. Bonners post match comments really sum it up.

Can’t fault the work rate, but we created nothing for 70 mins. Possibly Williams got us playing. Tough on Bonner to keep shuffling the pack, but I don’t think we’re seeing what he wants yet.

I know it’s early in the season, but already goal scoring is looking an issue. I mentioned earlier that hopefully as the players come back from injury it will improve. Apart from the opening salvo, only 2 goals scored in the next 4 games.
This needs to massively improve if promotion is to be the final outcome.
Defending once again doesn’t seem the problem, just need more clinical finishing. Simple!
Hopefully after this being an issue in the last few seasons, Bonner can sort it out quickly.
Away support a massive plus again. Great effort.

The injuries have certainly hampered our ability to field a full strength side this season.
This defeat to Donny has highlighted Bonner's shortcomings defensively.
We have plenty of midfielders.
Striker situation who is our best pairing ? Andrews and Nevitt are similar strikers.
Can Wyllie and Wakeling do the Cody Mac role feeding off Andrews or Nevitt.
I have my doubts. We need a proven fox in the box similar to Cody.
It does look like we will need the midfield chip in their share of goals.
MacKenzie in my book always ahead of Coleman who lacks a goal threat.
Lots of endeavour on Saturday with a weakened side playing 3 at the back and 5 in midfield.
Up The Gills !!!
