I know it was an exceptional performance and exciting day for Gdobe against Tranmere, but his performance highlighted the growing confidence he obviously is being given. It was a game by him based on strength and pace. He took the opportunity to take on the so called strong Tranmere defence time and time again. Showing great ability to get in behind them.
Not to be too carried away, but could he be the fringe player who comes through system and takes his opportunity with both hands/feet.
He could, at last be the young player who develops into the player everyone talks about this season. We’ve had a few promising players over the years, but this lad looks humble, hard working and an excellent prospect.
He was my MOTM.
Up for debate, better than all the spamming on this site anyway.

Yeah I've seen massive ability against posh and yesterday. I had the idea he was a blossoming bustling centre forward but hes far more than that, pace and power, i really dont see the point of loaning him out, hes shown more attacking theat than both Clarke and Rowe who think has been a disappointment. Keep it going Joe.

Yep so pleased to see him hustle and bustle a defence that didn't know how to handle him. There is a reason why successive managers have chosen to keep hold of him, great potential. He is now physically equipped and seems to have the right attitude to progress further too. I always felt this was going to be his make or break season, so it is so nice to warrant his starting place now. Keep it up Joe!

Gdobe certainly provides more attacking options for us. You aren’t really sure what’s he’s going to do, which I like. Also, defensively we look very good, I’m sure Masterson will come straight back in when fit which will be harsh on Ogie who has been superb.

Signed a new deal. Rewards him and protects us. Not at the Dack or Jarvis level yet, but definitely has the potential. Well deserved lad.

Seems a bit early to me after 2 good games, but I am pleased we’re giving kids a chance, even if our injury list makes that easier

He seems like an honest trier but I'm not convinced he will make the grade as a striker. His physique suggests that he ought to be more of a threat around the goal.
