So we are circa 9/10 games in now. What are people’s thoughts so far? I like his honesty in interviews, last nights a great example. Still not sure he can play exactly how he wants due to our ongoing injury list. A solid 8/10 for me so far with what he’s had at his disposal. Great attacking substitutions. No Dack again tonight, I assume he’s still injured…

I'm liking it so far. We actually have a positive manager, who does go out to win games on the front foot. Some of his tactical and set piece moves have also impressed. A refreshing change in that he seems to inspire the players more than Clem and we are more attack minded than under Harris. Easily 8/10 with potential of improvement on that score

I agree . Despite that, we still have a lot of injury problems, if we are honest we will admit that the NC result , whilst a great, herd-earned 3 points, was gained with a huge slice of luck. On the evidence so far our more recent acquisitions are a mixed bunch and quite clearly good old Ollie Hawkins is no better at defending than he is at goalscoring. It's the latter which worries me most . I don't think Gbode is anything mote than an honest trier while Andrews has yet to get off the treatment table.
As far as the manager himself goes, he seems a bit more attack-minded than his predecessors and with the obnoxious Scally sidelined the Galinsons' management team appears to be united in delivering an honest, enthusiastic regime for players and fans alike.
The club is now in good hands and the results are well-deserved.

Agree with a lot of that SW but i think you re being very harsh on Oli and Joe, particularly Joe, I think there is a big talent in the making.

I like Bonnor, yes, 8/10 for me, he seems an honest and open communicator. As do the Galinsons, who have revitalised the Club from top to bottom.
I’m a bit concerned about the injuries piling up, and I think the supporters deserve a statement about Andrews fitness. So far a disastrous signing.
I also think that both Harris and Clemence both had good honest intentions in their management of the Gills. Sadly they didn’t work out. But that happens at most clubs. From what I’ve heard the Cambridge supporters were fully behind Bonnor and were extremely disappointed with the decision to change him for another manager.

Well, time will tell and I hope I'm wrong about Gbode. As for AH, he is simply too slow and clumsy to be effective.

Gbode reminds me of Brandon Hanlon. Looked good but never really found an end product for us. He has plenty of time to work on that though. I'm excited to see him develop.
Bonner seems to learn as games progress and not be stubborn. I think recent mangers felt they had to stick with the plan they start a match with. He's great at subs. And now you get 5 that can have a big influence on the game.
A lot of why things seem more optimistic on the pitch I think is the vibe of the club and the fans and that rubs off on the players. Harris never really got that opportunity. Someone mentioned the spirit in the team reminded them of the Martin Allen champions season the other day, and I couldn't agree more.
I think Clemence would have come good given the chance. But I'm happier having Bonner here.
For me he's 7/10 at the moment.

He’s made us better and his coaching team are making individual players better. He was far from my first choice but we’re at the right end of the table, despite a fairly awful injury situation. I’m a big fan to be honest. Love his communication style and I know he’s made calls to long standing season ticket holders just to say “thanks for being a supporter”. Total class. So very early days, but 2nd in the table, a real togetherness in the squad, not scared of using kids, 9/10
