Tonight is not going to be easy against Newport County because they will cause us problems with their industry and our recent form is a huge worry.
None of us thought we would lose to Grimsby, Crewe, Accrington and Bradford. But maybe the cracks are appearing with fragility of our squad and certain players are not up to the task of achieving success.
I think Ashby Hammond deserves a chance after the howlers from Jake who is just another Tomas Holy...a guaranteed mistake in every game, similar traits that applies to Ehmer and Ogie.
Bonner's post match comments about losing to Bradford City is nothing to be shamed about.
Talking up Bradford is a sure sign of deflecting attention of your shortcomings as a coach and managing players fitness.
How long have Bradford been in league two ? They were relegated in 2018-19 season for a reason and they are still there.
I rest my case Mark Bonner.
Not losing today would stop the rot

5 defeats, 3 at home on the bounce, a shambles tonight, is there anyone on here now who will now agree with me that enough is enough and Bonner is a used BS second hand car salesman? It's enough.

I don’t think it’s Bonner. He’s changed it with the limited resources he has. He got a reaction after a hideous first half. We had 50 touches in their box- yes 50! He tried playing the wingers on their side- didn’t work. He tried two up top- didn’t work. He tried 2 at the back- still couldn’t score. He tried Wakeling- hopeless. He tried Gbode- couldn’t hit a barn door. He simply doesn’t have the players

He simply doesn’t have the players He may not have the best players but he has players but isnt able to get the best out of them, and he s so predictable, I say again can you see these players doing this under Scott Lindsay, of course not. It is a lousy recruitment team, average players available and Bonners inability. Once again it needs a big overhaul. We look appalling and if we dont get the right bloke in, never mind changing them in january, we re heading again for the National League, dont kid ourselves, it's that bad. I saw it against Barrow and it's got worse. Hess and Jackett goodbye an experienced manager in and let him get his own players. Probably the best we can do now is go for Woodman again, too late for Lindsay, we ve missed that cert boat. I'd go for Ainsworth.

I’d stick with Bonner but I can’t justify Hess and Jackett being part of this. Their record is horrid.

I’d also stick with Bonnor.
A team of players coming back unfit, and sick notes. I don’t care who it is, No manager could deal with that.
I agree the recruitment team have a lot to answer for.

Bonner is trying to play attacking football, despite a horrible injury list. Lots of attacking substitutions, I can’t see what else he could have done. Agree blame recruitment team not Bonner.

I'd stick with Bonner, there is no obvious candidate to turn us around, Lindsey is at Mk dons and we'd be scratching around for a replacement. Bonner has tried to be proactive, bit he has three problems if we want to go up. 1. The injury list needs to be looked at, he had no choice today really with the players available. 2. The squad, I don't like naming and shaming but Turner(not at fault today), Ehmer,Ogie ,Clark, Coleman are not good enough to play the way he wants us to play with energy. The defence was better under previous managers.but they played a much more cautious style. The goals we gave away tonight were shocking and nothing less. 3. Attacking. I don't believe our strikers actually think they can score, a lot of huff and puff again(particularly from Clarke), but we didn't have that person to slam the ball in the back of the net.
Not scoring and giving goals away=big problem

Bad mistakes for their goals, although I couldn't see from where I was sat but looked like for the free kick for the first goal, the ball was off and the fella dived. Second goal, Ehmer had to be tighter to their crouchy
Their keeper made an amazing save from Clarke first half. I was sat in line with it, was heading into the corner. Way too many high crosses, not enough hard and low
Second half, thought we were unlucky. Deserved at least one goal. But didn't take our chances.
That centre midfield of dieng and Coleman doesn't work, too slow

Four years of this should be enough to convince the Galinsons that it's the players/recruitment of and not the successive managers who are at fault.
Even with around 65% possession we can't score goals and the regular bursts of enthusiasm for the likes of Gbode, Hawkins, Wyllie are nothing more than wishful thinking.
We have no goalscorers -it's as simple as that. Until we get some ( even one would do ) we are not a promotion side.

Well you boys, watch Bonner take us down the table and into oblivion, well so be it I suppose.

With respect, it's not Bonner who can't score a one on one, or get a header on target from six yards, or hit a volley anywhere other than into row Z.

If you re saying we lack a striker then that seems true but we did have 2 apparently, one of them was playing last night. The other is injured like the rest of the club. Why so many? Why dont players want to play. Why were we so tough to beat and now were not? The recruitment team and fans, though not me, felt we didnt need a Centre half, they felt our defence was good. I didnt, we were not conceding much last year because of the way we played, ultra caution, not because our defence was good. Now we re back to square one. But if we leave Bonner in charge I cant see a reversal. Someone has to get this side to stop losing before we get to the inevitable mass clear out, including the recruitment team, most of the players and the manager. Someone else experienced must come in because we could still end up in the National League this season. This will again be a saving season, we can forget it and write it off. We must now concentrate on whats next which is extremely sad but the Galinsons must get a grip or they ll be gone also. The club is not right, badly not right and Scally doesnt help but hes not going away either. I have no confidence in Bonner meanwhile and whatever we have or don't have now player wise, he must go.

...with the greatest of respect. Who is this experienced manager you want to bring it Donut that’s going to turn things around. It’s just I thought we had been down that road and that didn’t work either….
