What an awful day. Harrogate were there for the taking, we were poor in 1st half, then nicked a goal and should have pushed on, but as soon as they equalised Harrogate knew they had 3 points. 3 awful things for me 1. Lack of leadership in the team, starting with the captain. Unfortunately little is injured I'd give it to him 2. Terrible subs that left us exposed in the middle. 3. Most concerning of all is that for the last 15 minutes we didn't really try to attack their goal, barring Andrews awful miss. In times past we would be peppering the goal with players ans shots but we just don't do this at all.
Regardless of manager we need better players, but if brad is going to pull the trigger do it now or soon so a new manager(hopefully not a novice) can see what he has to do before January.

Gareth Ainsworth wins his first game in charge of the lowly Shrews, beating number four in the table Birmingham 3-2. Yes it takes more than one swallow to make a summer, (no honey I am not talking to you ,wait till we got to bed ) ,but it has taken the Gills three games games to score three goals ,and the last time the Gills scored three in a match .....September 14th against Tranmere ,14 games ago in all competitions. I am not for hiring and firing managers ,I remember a certain goal keeper being given the Managers job at Manchester United, and everyone laughed in his first year,I think managers should be given a year to get his feet under the table, and at least one year of picking his own players before he can be fairly judged. With regards to Warburton I think you have to take the Rangers job off his CV, after all with only Rangers,Celtic and occasionally Aberdeen worth talking about in the Scottish Premiers Division, well ,enough said. Would he want to come to Gillingham, I guess if the owner said I am going to open my wallet in the summer, then maybe he would be interested in a 2 1/2 year contract, but if the Board is talking about bringing in Free Transfers then I can not imagine he would be that interested. He has been around the game for a long time yet is only 62 years old he was at the Hammers a year or so ago and I am sure he would not ask for a kings ransom to come here. Warnock's 75 years old ,even if he started putting a team together for next year, lets say he just missed by a point or two on promotion, is he going to want to work another year,by then he will be a couple of years off of 80.

Warnock would come for the right money, hes down at Torquay advising their manager. The players wont muck him around and he ll be simple.

Warnock would get us promoted if he was appointed in January because his vast contacts in the game is undisputed.
Our PE teacher can't even organise " A Piss- Up In A Brewery", and he has no contacts in the professional ranks worthy of note. That's why he relied on Jackett and Hess to reach out and bring in crap like Ogie and Coleman who were not even rated at Leyton Orient, the pair of them were already surplus to requirement and heading for the exit door, we signed these two clowns to join Ehmer and ended up running a circus, with the help of Jake Turner too.
MB must leave for us to rescue the season. We cannot have a manager who just throws on players without any plan on how to impact the game. The amount of times the through ball has carved us open is disgraceful and Brad needs to act quickly.
The Managing Director does not convince me he knows what's best for our club. He does not look or feel like he knows how to recruit talent. Comper feels very much like a match day host rather than a MD.
I get the distinct feeling Brad was badly advised and still is the case, because he taken far to long to remove Jackett and Hess needs to go ASAP.
It's taken Brad a few years to realise that people like Scally are deadly poisonous and many of them linked to him must be removed too.

I’d put Warnock up there with Steve Evans. No, no, no.

I understand Hess but hes different, the situation is different, and it's necessary.

Hess...to get out of this league you need to play aggressively, be hardworking and well drilled.
Play like Tony Pulis.
Play like Martin Allen.
Play like Steve Evans.
It's the best way get out of this league.
Teams that play proper football on the deck, like Swindon Town, MK Dons and Walsall generally struggle. If players were technically good on the ball, they would have moved on to pastures new and up the pyramid.

Swans, realise you don’t go to games, but we play hoofball. The answer is not a 75 year old who keeps on retiring.

He can retire again after getting us out of L2.
MB is finished.
Bromley will do a job on us and MK Dons with Lindsay will be relishing playing a team like us at the moment.
No good waiting to lose the next few matches to make a decision on MB, because that could be the difference between making the play-offs in May.
Dwelling on MB future is gonna cost us, need to act now and prepare for new window in January.

Swans, i think most have accepted that Bonner needs to go, maybe apart from Brad (hope not) but its WHO will replace him, and this time we must get it right. It must be some experienced, it must be someone who ll take no crap and he must be someone who can pick and then go and get his own steely players. Plain and simple, no silly machines, no data crp, just do it.

I hope Christmas comes early for all Gills fans.
Wake up tomorrow, with the removal of a PE teacher who just chucks on players in hope, rather than expectation.

I am 100% convinced that Brad does not trust MB's judgement on bringing in players anymore. He has surely seen how poorly he has managed the players and the tactics have been shocking.
The pre-match and post match waffle is making look like a person totally out of his depth.
MB is not better than Clemence now. Lol
This can only lead to one conclusion.

The social media silence from the club and the owners hopefully means something. On a side note the reaction from Ehmer to supporters in the medway stand was a disgrace, if only he showed that much fight on the pitch. Heard a few others were giving it up at the Rainham end

Just got a message from my mate in Kent who said loads of players at the Gills don't like or rate Max Ehmer. His poor leadership skills and shallow attitude has proved to be his undoing.
Research the reason why Bristol Rovers sacked him ?
They said he was shite.
We have this fella back and he proved to be awful season after season...with relegation on his CV.
That alone speaks hugely about him as a person, a serial loser and captain of our club.
What a @ucking joke !!!
