Ok not a great scoring record of late but big enough and worth a look for sure got to be better back up than what we have waiting in the wing's now as cover for Bayo now. Not sure he would be cover for Cody but maybe that's not going to happen at this level. If he want's it enough then maybe a good call.

He used to be about pace and power and the fact he struggled to score in Australia is worrying....

lloyd owusu is a quality striker, he has always scored goals and i think he is a excellent addition to the squad if hessie takes him. i remember his days at brentford and more recently yeovil, he is extremely good in the air. brilliant spotting hessie, i always hoped he would join us in the past, so don't pass up this opportunity. i am sure we will be promoted this season and if lloyd joins the title is a strong possibility. up the gills !!!!

5 years ago, if we could have had a strike force of Owusu & Cureton, I'd've bitten your arm off. Personally, wouldn't touch either now. We've got to be realistic in that we're trying to sign a back up striker, but I'd rather someone younger who hopefully can fill the void next season when Cody goes back to Norwich

There may have been a few reasons No difficult trial?Starting place?Could be nearer to where he wanted to live?Anyway as I said before we need a player who who want To be part of it.One thing it does prove that there will be no more chances for Mark MacCammon.Unless someone worth going for stick with what we have.

if that is the limit of his ambition- it is just as well he didnt come here- You are assuming Hess wanted him and was rejected.... more likely Hess looked at him, decided he wasn't up to the job and said goodbye...

Luton took Lloyd without a trial that say a lot glad Hess hasn't rushed into anything.Give Weston and Rooney a chance I have a good feeling the team spirit is good and I think we have the goals in the side.We need to sit tight and only make a move if we need to.I would prefer to have a quaility player for a month or two in march and april to getting a average one now for the rest of the season.

Lloyd to Luton Town without trial, can't wait for trial at Gills, grab a conference premier side smacks of desperation, maybe prudent judgement by Hess. Having said that Lloyd apparently has signed until then end of the season maybe a look then, more prudence?
