Does anyone else get sick of hearing Pulis and his moans about decisions made by refreees. He must come 3rd behind Ferguson and the biggest of all, Warnock. I know that many on here worship the ground that the man walked on while he was with us but sadly I find i am embarrasssed by his tirades. His players are NEVER wrong!!!

To be fair to Pulis, he hasn't had luck with some of the decisions. Earlier in the season, there were 2-3 clear penalties that never went his way which was covered by Match of the Day as a segment. I think it comes down to the notion that the bigger teams get decisions that the smaller teams don't - Gary Neville should have been sent off against Stoke for a scything challenge on a Stoke player on the halfway line but got a way with it (Fergie took Neville off at half time with a smirk). One of Stoke's players got sent off for a similiar challenge the week before and got the big red one.
I do think there is a difference between complaining about a referee if the referee got a decision wrong than the likes of Fergie who complains on the basis that a referee has the nerve to give a decision against Man United. If Fuller had gone down in the box in the same way Berbatov did against Liverpool then you can be certain it wouldn't have been given.
And we fans are no better. I recall when we were playing the likes of Leeds in the championship that we were complaining that the referees gave more 50-50 decisions to the big clubs. All managers complain, even Lord Hessenthaler who can do no wrong, and Pulis is no worse.
I find myself more irritated by Holloway who seems to be the media darlin who goes on long rants about nothing.

There is no dout in my mind crowds have more say in ref's decisions than managers do that's why we must make our voices count now.Come onGGGGIIIIIILLLLLSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!

Personally I like it when a manager goes into bat for his side. Dalglish used it very well in his first games in charge. Rather than saying against Man Utd "we didn't create a thing", it was decisions that went against them? Ditto vs Everton, his side couldn't defend for toffee (pardon the pun), but the ref shouldn't have given a corner and Martin Kelly was fouled before the 2nd. Good way of getting confidence back into the side and the famous seige mentality within the camp. Pulis is an expert at that (and was at Gills when he used to moan everyone hated us). Better that than a manager who constantly criticses his players or side in public week in, week out

Good point Hessisgod, the likes of Warnock and Pulis will stick up for their players and appease the ir supporters - not the opposition or referees. Where this may fall down, though, is that they make themselves unpopular with referees. I'm sure some referees give marginal decisions against Stoke, if the manager is known to have a rant when attacking decisions that clearly were against his side. (granted Stole are alspo usually the smaller side)

Roberto di Matteo is complaining that WBA are getiing poor treatment from refs especially when playing the big boys. It's hard to believe that refs do not call decisions exactly as they see them but there is some evidence that perhaps they have stars in their eyes when they play at Old Trafford or Emirates.
