A lot a neat football with no cutting edge...creating chances is not a problem...just finishing them off.
The players
Flitney - two top class saves...on this form could start
Gueret - not sure why he is here, kicking was poor
Fuller - ran around a lot, a very Barry performance...does what it says on the tin
Fish - I like him, put him ahead of Fuller for his attacking ability, I need to see more of him in defence
Frampton - good players, I feel he could be the man to drag us into the playoffs or better.
King - good to him playing...feel he`ll be 3rd or 4th choice, unfortunately not the man he once was
Whelpdale - didn`t do much . but he will rip this league to bits
Lambe -
JPayne - did ok, he`ll be there abouts, has real competition this year, may find himself on the bench more than he expects.
Ford - ?
Kedwell - back to goal he is excellent, holds the ball up well, lays the ball off well, works hard, won a few headers...not enough pace and need a speedy partner
Rance -
Weston - few nice touches but overall poor by his standards, still one of our most skillful players
Spiller - best player on the night, passing good, full of energy, crooses from open play and corners at times excellent...competition for places seems to have raised his game again
Rooney - mixed night, few tricky runs, nice shot, but gives the ball away to much
Cowan Hall - hes`s quick
Lawrence - Very good, dominant first half display..looks like him and the Captain at the back
Richards - look good in the oppositions box, looks fit, I still see him as a hoof ball merchant
Jackman - did nothing wrong but nothing to remember, can easily play left back
Martin - better going forward than Jackman, linked well with midfield
Montrose - played well, used his height to good effect, decent athlete, some nice touches...could start
Lee - I think he will start, has to time his tackles better
TheCatMan - sort it out Hess
