Be interesting to see who will be in goal next game, if bywater starts then nelson won't be happy, for some unknown reason Taylor picked the loanee and his no comments regarding this situation after yesterday's defeat doesn't go down well in his post match interview, he was grilled and rightly so, the guy interviewing him laid into Taylor and the replies were very hollow.
Nelson has to play from now on or otherwise something deeper is underlying which we don't know about, or is Taylor going to play bywater and try and prove a point, that yesterday's blunder was a blip, he has made a few too many compared to nelson, bywater is only on loan here and nelson is the better keeper no doubt.

It still bugs me why he brought Bywater in on loan in the first place;Morris was back up and deserved a chance any loan player should have been back up to Morris! That decision stank of poor management!

I think PT s view may have been Nelson was going to be out for some considerable time and he had the opportunity to pick up an experienced keeper and took it. I think many managers may have done the same.

I'd argue Bywater is the better keeper. I agree that Morris deserved his chance when Nelson got injured as I can't understand the point in him signing otherwise. However, Bywater has been outstanding and without him, we'd be starting at some big big losses. I think people are pretty blinkered to Nelson's faults and all this "England's no 1" nonsense. He doesn't command his box well and is often rooted to his line. He's made his fair share of mistakes in 2 seasons.

They both have their faults, hence why they are playing in div1. I guess he played Bywater to keep him match fit until Morris is again fit. Can see them sharing the goal for the next couple of fixtures, although not a Fan of that idea. I thought Nelson looked at bit ring rusty last time out and needs a couple of games to get back into it? starting with the fa cup.

Have West Ham given permission for Bywater to play in the FA Cup?

Doubt West Ham will have any say in it swingfieldgill as he's a Millwall player. He played in our Carling Cup tie against Newcastle so would guess they aren't concerned over him being cup-tied again. Heard somewhere that Millwall have given their blessing to him extending his loan until the end of the season

There is one player who has been forgoten in all this .That is Glenn Morris he has been outstanding when called on and given both other keepers a run for their money.Only last week at Cardiff he was in amazing form. However it was stated that he picked up a injury not sure if he is available for one of our cup games.I would not be against him getting a chance.Although I doubt he will get it.

Agree stato, but think I read he will be out for a couple of weeks at least.
