His name has been put on the article, is PS going to reply to it, like he has done to the criticism received of him by various contributors to forums. The writer seems to have an opinion that i think some people on here will disagree with. In the current world climate it should be remembered it is all about "freedom of speech"

I don't think there is anything in this article that has not been debated on sites such as this. The only statement which I picked up on was that both PS and PT both said that Peter Taylor made the phone call to PS and I believe that something was said during that conversation that resulted in PS sacking PT. Sounds like it was done in a moment of extreme anger.

Gosh, that makes me sound like a Scally fan! Does anyone know who the author is?
Moot point really anyway, we don't get to decide, Scally will stay until he can leave in a way which is financially advantageous, just like any businessman would.
I agree with gillsjan, it sounds like there was a proper toys out to the pram moment which has left us up the proverbial creek during the transfer window, really not a professional way to carry on. I so hoped the sacking was all part of a plan...
Never mind, Beattie has confirmed he's applied today :-D

There's some truth in what's been read, but also a lot of nonsense there as well. Scally attends most games for a start. I don't believe he owns a private jet- I'm pretty sure he uses Emirates to fly to and from Dubai. As for making signings on free transfers- give me a lower level club that doesn't? The rich like Bristol City can pay the odd fee, but that's few and far between. I can agree about the sackings and endless change of playing staff, however. That's something that needs to change. Our new manager needs to be in place and be allowed to build his side, not get shoved out when some of our fans get impatient as they have delusions and grandeur.

In addition hess, was not the town end redevelopment halted by the tv company reneging on its cash deal leaving many lower league clubs minus several £millon of promised revenue? Think perhaps the author of this article is a tad anti.

I think its a mischief making article from someone who has nothing better to write about. As I said before none of it is NEW news just repetitive and not even factually correct. Should get all facts right before allowing this to go to print.

I think Scally has said now for a while "if the deal was right for the club and for his family he would move on".As far as i know nothing has changed we have not got anybody knocking at his door wanting to buy the club until we do there is no point destroying the only owner we have.

Agree with most and we have debated everything said in that report a number of times over the past few years. Not sure we disagree with much either, but unless a sugar daddy is found things ant gonna change.

I like this quote he made
"When the Priestfield gets going, there’s no other ground like it."
Who can remember the last time Priestfield Rocked.. (under Allen i believe).. there's nothing better when the ground has that word "atmosphere" in it.. i can remember the days when the Medway Stand lower tier created noise what happened??
There would be nothing better this Saturday to for once get behind the board management and the players of this football club, and once again become the twelth man.

When did it become "The" Priestfield? That's the 2nd time I've seen it referred too as such in recent weeks and it's not right!!!!!

I think for local people it's traditionally been called Priestfield Stadium, then as each sponsor comes along bits get added.what do you think we should say?
