At 3pm today Folkestone take on Merstham for a place in the Ryman Premier league. Our own Roland Edge is player/assistant manager and one Ashley Miller is also in their ranks.I still have no answer as to why the lad who clearly had as much if not more talent than Bradley Dack never made it.He is still only about 21 so maybe he will in time.Just shows what a fine line there really is as there were premier league scouts watching him at one point.Maybe I will have more answers after the game.Skipper Frankie Chappell was also in our youth ranks until 2007.With very few games today this should get a good following.Good luck Invicta. I looking forward to returning (if I can) for our regular pre season fixture.

Agree stato, there were such high hopes for miller and he just drifted away without any real go in the first team. As to edge a very tidy player and good servant to the gills and I wish them all the best today.

A very poor showing by Folkestone saw them lose 3-0 Merstham were the much bigger and stronger side.Great long range effort killed the game just after the interval.Oh and Miller came on as sub for the last 15 minutes one or two nice touches but the game was already over as a contest at that point.
