Just hoping we can show support for the away support tomorrow . They are not called the Irons for nothing. The bad news will hit them hard . Nice if club asks for some recognition of support. Don't know if Dougie can say something appropriate. Guess quite a hard one to pitch correctly .

Yes I hope so too. It's awful for the Town that so many jobs are announced to go, There will be a lot of hardship there just approaching Christmas. I still hope they don't win!!

Yes, the town of Scunthorpe must be a very depressed area at the moment so I am sure that their team would like to give them something to cheer up the supporters of their football club but this is a professional sport so I will be looking for Gills to keep their winning run going.

Give scaany their due they gave us more than a run for our money and had we lost a game as they did conceding a goal to 10 men on 90+2mins then I think, no, know,I would be a bit subdued. Not that that detracts from my jubilation at the attitude/approach by the team last night,we seem to be like a wounded beast,at our best when on the back foot. 3 points, top of the league and the Gills go marching on. Must admit I agree with JE's comments regarding over achieving and that we are not the finished article, this I feel is reflected in our play but the teams enthusiasm, spirit and endeavour is second to none and is keeping us on top. Look forward to what is to come. Particularly like the support shown by Gills fans for Scunthorpe prior to the kick off.
