Press report indicates that we are poised to sign George Williams (winger) on loan from Fulham for a month. Is there any truth in it?
He's hardly set the world alight so far from his stats: 20 appearances and yet to score - but he has played for Wales at various levels (U17, U19, U21) scoring once at Under 19 level.

He's actually signed for the rest of the seaso. Suffered a serious anterior cruciate ligament injury whilst on loan at MK Dons last March and has only made two senior appearances from the subs bench since then. One for the future me thinks

Cheers guys, but that's a serious injury to come back from. Assume we got him for very little wage just to get him back Match fit, however, usual welcome will be forthcoming and hope he is turns out to be a great signing as we need a goal threat ATM.

He has been playing for the under 21 side it appears from friends of Fulham forum he returned to fitness at the start of the season. They seem to rate the lad.As do Wales as he has appeared in the senior side in a friendly.Looking forward to seeing him Sounds a more than useful addition to our squad. They say he is a striker/winger so I am expecting what we need a skillful player who can set up a few chances for others as against a goal scoring forward.Paul Shaw was a example of a player who scored relatively few goals but was a excellent striker.

That sounds like a good signing...I wonder if we will see something of him today. Weather not looking too good again.

Almost certain to start I would have thought. They say he played against West Bromwich in the under 21s last week it appears according to concrete roundabout mk forum he can play on both wings or the number 10 roll.So I would expect him to play on the left of the diamond unless JED goes with two defensive midfielders and two more attacking ones IE Wright and Morris,Loft or Hess sitting in front of a back for with Dack and Williams pushing on.Behind the front men.

Thought he may have come on instead of flash to make a 5 man midfield by dropping Donnelly late on, but hey he will get us chance.
