Inspiring result to draw at Luton. Came from behind to do it. What a Jekyll and Hyde side we are? Lose to a weaker Bristol Rovers in midweek but gain an unexpected point at the top teams pitch. Keeps us in with a chance to escape and the gap is still too close for comfort but got to be encouraged by the result today. COYG

Great result and well done to all. Shame we didn’t play this team on Tuesday when it really mattered. Think that confirms how poor we are without the loan signings who have made a big difference.

Good point, but sums up our season with us doing well against the big boys and struggling against teams at the bottom. Muppet- spot on about the loanees, although only 2 of the 5 played again.
2 more vital games coming up with us only 2 points off the drop zone

A nice report from the opposition manager.
I will say I have watched only the home games this year but I have not seen any real positive difference with the loanees in any of those games, lose, draw or win. From the results we’ve done better away all season . Portsmouth for one and none of the new loanees there. Personally not rated any of the loanees above what we have . What we have just not played well at home on most days. I will however take more the same next week and if report of yesterday as good as it says we should get another result

Blimey an away manager heaping praise, you don’t get that often. Regards to the loan players, I have to disagree, Burke especially and Lopes have the ability to move quicker, are mobile all game and find space for a pass, which others lack the ability to do. They actually make opposition have to move out of position and our core players weren’t doing that.

Lovell regain some of his senses and picked a decent team - they stuck to his game plan and fully derseved the point. Could have got all three as Hanlan had two really good chances to put us in front and one day he will surely take home the match ball after his first hat-trick for the Gills.
A really 'soft' goal right on half-time was disappointing as Reilly didn't know much about it - touching the ball into the scorers path. Eaves goal was well crafted with Fuller sending Reilly away and his cross was inch perfect for Eaves to nod home. Don't really want to complain but Luton's second should have been stopped by Holy at his near post. Still the Gills second was pure joy and a stunning free-kick from O'Neill that whipped into the top corner - great strike and well deserved.
Gills & Lovell should be really chuffed at nearly crafting Luton's first home defeat but supporters must hope Lovell keeps focussed and keep the same team and achieve two wins against teams below them - Wimbledon and then Rochdale. They have proved they are more than capable providing Lovell dosen't overthink the problem.

Let us all be honest, we love Steve Lovell but we don’t want him as our Manager because he is not good enough. I do fear PS choice in Ardley though 🤷♂️
