Come on then what excuses does this bunch of losers have, Losing at home without scoring against a team in 22nd, Joke, Gills are crap, Was we tired, with 10 days rest, PT should be sacked, Near full squad available, PT starting 11 and subs were a joke, embarrassed.
Of course on the above i am joking, I just thought id get in there before the real moaners turn up. I am not surprised we lost but it is a shame, Still, roll on Oldham

I think I would call this " A Game of No Options ". Mid field far too deep most of the time and when we got the ball we did not have anyone to pass to. Disappointing match with appalling referee.

I'm blaming losing the toss. No evidence to back this up, but I'm sure our record attacking town end 2nd half is poor

It was pretty dire and I actually said matches against Sheff UTD are normally exciting 4-2's ,3-0 over the years! Gills performance in the second half was like watching paint dry,the injury to the young C.Pal loanee definately changed the pattern of the game ! Our chances were all but over when Taylor brought the useless ineffective Weston on as sub,I never leave early but should have left then!!

Until there goal we were the better side and played some good football. Agree gillsjan,Ryan innis looked very good indeed and can't remember the last time I saw one of our centre halfs pass six balls to a gills player! Real shame as injury looks like a hamstring and that means a month at least. Second half was dreadful, with a number of players well below par. As to Sheffield, they have a good record under cough and won't finish near the bottom with that squad.

It's interesting on the toss hessisgod because I feel the same as you and they always opt for town end if they win the toss. I also wondered if it was to do with the sun?

Interesting comments on "the Toss" the same remarks are made by all those adjacent to where we sit every time we have to kick towards Town end 2nd half.

Lets hope we can get some points in the next 2 (away) games, or we could be right back in the thick of a relegation dogfight...
(Also bearing in mind we have 8 AWAY games to play of the 14 remaining games.so i feel we must get something from the coming home fixtures, especially against teams in and around us)

Had to smile last night as the Rainham End in particular made their feelings known about the lack of and poor decisions by the referee.......

Another shocking display by the ref. This season they have been, bar 2 or 3 of them, awful and not just against us, in general their decision making. I am not sure what Bayo needs to do sometimes to get a free kick, especially that one in the first half just inside the box where the centre half had hold of him initially, then climbed all over his back to get nowt. Although there were a few trash refs last season. I thought the general standard was better then. On the opposite though, did give us something to shout about on the second half when the game was rubbish!!

I did think the quality of the refs would improve when we went up but that is not the case.

We have had a few really good refs this season. The Wolves game and Madley who I believe refereed the Swindon fixture come to mind.Forget the ref on Wednesday we simply did not pass the ball well enough. The marking was poor and the team looked as if they were tired not had time off.No point in blaming the ref frankly we would have needed a massive good one to win the other night. For me the wrong team was picked, then we lost a outstanding centre back. He was replaced by Legge who seemed to lose sight of the man he was meant to be marking at every set play.Bayo tried and failed to play for 90 mins.To many players are not up to playing the full term that's OK as long as you do not pick up any injuries. No Excuses we simply were not good enough.Onward and upwards as they say.Sorry about the moan I simply had to tell it how I saw it.

One thing Scally must ensure if we stay up or go down he must not let Taylor be manager next season,a lot of his tactical decisions leaves a lot to be desired!
